Marilyn Hodgson

Meet Marilyn Hodgson, Senior Advocate . . .

Parks and Recreation staff welcomes Marilyn Hodgson, the newest member of our team. As a Parks and Recreation Assistant, Marilyn will fill the role of Senior Advocate.

Marilyn brings a wide variety of skills and experience to us through her 19 years at Hanford performing such duties as Total Quality Management Program Administrator, Communications Coordinator, and Public Relations Liaison. While at Hanford, she went back to school to complete her BS degree in Business, along with a Masters in Project Management. Her background also includes fifteen years as an entertainer, singer, and musician prior to her years at Hanford.

Along with her husband Jim, Marilyn operates River Meadow Farm located outside of Richland near the Yakima River. The farm is a park-like haven for their 14 Arabian horses, a wide variety of dogs and cats, and their six grandchildren. Marilyn enjoys competing in shows and although she rides both Western and English, she is specializing in Dressage at this time.

Marilyn said she may bring her guitar to work, but thought she’d better leave the horses at home!
